History

The Metropolitan Sports Academy (MSA) was established in 2010 as a subsidiary of the Metropolitan Research and Education Bureau (MREB) in Accra, Ghana. MSA was reincorporated in 2023 by the Board of Governors whose passion is to identify, nature and develop the sporting talent of young men and women in Ghana and beyond. The Academy went under restructuring in the year 2023. This led to the development of a well-structured contemporary curriculum that incorporate life skills and extracurricular activities such as entrepreneurship. The academy serves as a family for communities, regions and nations worldwide.
MSA provides a safe and nurturing environment for young players to develop their sports skills within a team setting. We have teams of enthusiastic, respectful and aspirational sports athletics including footballers across a range of age groups. We compete in community games, Ghana divisional games and international friendly games. Qualified and skilled coaches lead all training sessions and developmental programs.
Our Sports Academy develop sports athletes in their chosen sports, ensuring that they keep improving the skills they need to become winners.
Our football (Soccer) teams play in the Ghana Football Association organized competitions.
Since its creation, the academy has seen many young people go through its training programs. We work on sports men and women to improve and develop tactics and ultimately meet the international standards for world sports.
