How to Join

Joining PARST is open to all individuals and organizations involved in the secondhand textiles and recycling industry. To become a member, follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Membership Application Form (available on our website or at designated PARST offices).
  2. Submit the required documents, including proof of involvement in the industry.
  3. Pay the annual membership fee based on your selected membership category.
  4. Receive a confirmation email and membership certificate upon approval.

Membership Signup Form

Interested members can sign up by completing the online registration form on our official website or by visiting a PARST regional office. The form requires the following details:

  • Full Name / Business Name
  • Contact Information (Email, Phone, Address)
  • Nature of Involvement in the Industry
  • Membership Category Selection
  • Payment Details for Membership Fee

Once the form is submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.

Membership Categories & Fees

  • Full Membership: $100 per year – Open to individuals, businesses, and organizations operating within Africa’s secondhand textile industry.
  • Affiliate Membership: $150 per year – Available for individuals and organizations outside Africa who are engaged in the secondhand textiles and recycling sector.
  • Corporate Membership: $500 per year – For companies and institutions that support sustainable clothing initiatives and wish to collaborate with PARST.
  • Student Membership: $50 per year – For students and researchers interested in sustainable fashion, textile recycling, and secondhand trade.
  • Lifetime Membership: $1,000 (one-time fee) – A permanent membership option for long-term supporters of PARST.
  • Tiered Corporate Membership:
    • Silver Membership: $1,000 per year – Includes enhanced networking opportunities and premium exposure in PARST’s industry reports.
    • Gold Membership: $2,500 per year – Provides priority access to events, research materials, and policy discussions.
    • Platinum Membership: $5,000 per year – Offers exclusive sponsorship opportunities, VIP networking sessions, and direct consultation on industry policies.
